While studying computer science, Carsten Rust gained first experience in research at the Fraunhofer-Research-Institute and as an independent consultant for small medium-sized businesses.
Over the past 20 years, he has worked in leadership positions for international software companies with European-wide responsibility and has also gained start-up experience. Together with his teams, he has supported clients from all sectors in the development of digital innovations.
His technological and methodological expertise make him the go-to person when it comes to finding the right balance between viability, feasibility and desirability.
Carsten is characterized by empathy, enthusiasm and openness to the ideas of his team.
In 2021 Carsten Rust started his own business, a community of independent, future thinking digital & sustainability experts with the mission to inspire organizations in the art of the possible and coach them to design innovative solutions for their transformation journeys.

I enjoy long walks with my dog and appreciate being outdoors. One of my favorite pastimes is reading books often accompanied by music of various styles. I am particularly fascinated by science fiction because of its futuristic themes and imaginative stories about possible futures. My love of storytelling also extends to movies of all kinds, preferably experienced with friends in a cinema.
